Finta is through to the Essex Finals ! AGAIN !

Saturday 16 November Finta took part in the Futsal Qualifiers Groups 3&4 . Four age groups represented the club (U10 , U12 , U14 & U16) with 3 of them making the next round . Also was the debut of our white kit for the U10 & U12 age groups and the shirt is still unbeaten !!

U10

First up was the u10s in a very tough competition with 2 groups of 5 teams . The winner of each group would then play a final to see who would go through to then next round. Finta won all games (4 group games +1 final) and made it to the next round . Final was a really tight encounter against old friends and fellow futsal club CM Futsal which was only decided with 1 minute to go . U12

A depleted U12 squad with several players missing was really brave and intelligent to play the competition . Boys held their own well and were competitive and clinical at the right times and deserved to go to the next round . The most impressive of it all was that we did not conceced a single goal in the competition ! Merit to goalkeeper Oliver & to all the players for being consistent defensively .Super proud of this group that now have the return of a few players who were representing their borough on different sporting activities .

U14

Not the same luck for the U14s group . A team made out of half U13s players needed a bit more consistency to compete at that level , something the boys will have time to learn / practice . The eventual winners Bocas Futsal was well deserved and the best team there , well done guys ! U14s Won 1 L 2 D1 U16 Excellente performance by the U16s , managing to swich formations during the game , exploit set pieces and play some solid futsal . A few of those boys recently had the opportunity to train with Helvecia's First team which was a valuable experience for them . Looking foward to what the future holds for them .
